The Story Of Kee Nguyen
Meet Henry Tan and Radius Khor, founders of Kee Nguyen Vietnam Coffee who kickstarted their coffee ventures on the streets back in June 2019 from a car boot. In their quest of searching for an authentic cup of Vietnam coffee taste, the duo ended up with disappointment as there were none in the market. Equipped with skills in graphic designs, the duo started Kee Nguyen, a Malaysian Vietnam Coffee startup and plan to serve affordable coffee to every Malaysian.
The concept is simple. The brand was created to provide a coffee-on-the-go for fast ordering and collection in a kiosk style. (Coffee drinks kiosks are pretty common in Vietnam) With that in mind, they wanted customers to reminisce the feeling of sipping their coffee at Vietnam. (Ahhhh.. the first sip!)
While most typical Vietnam Coffee in Malaysia are prepared with condensed milk, Kee Nguyen pioneers the full authentic set of Yogurt Coffee, Coconut and Egg Coffee straight right from Vietnam.
To date, Kee Nguyen had raked in more than 10,000+ online orders and with 8 branches in Klang Valley, sales has been super encouraging.
A single tweet back in June 2020 proves to be a game-changer for Kee Nguyen when it was shared 3,800 times.
Already winning hearts and with growing fans all over Malaysia, Kee Nguyen’s offers unique menus such as Yogurt Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Coke Coffee and our favourite Egg Coffee. The feat has certainly place Kee Nguyen as the authentic Vietnamese coffee brand on the map in Malaysia.
With lockdowns still in place, Kee Nguyen has plans to launch more outlets covering more locations outside of Klang Valley. They might also launch a new set of beverage menus but it’s early to confirm given the uncertainly caused by the pandemic. Plans to launch a Premium outlet is also in consideration too.
