Team ‘The Infinity’ from Thailand beats 3 Malaysian teams last week to win MYR 125k in cash prizes and secure a ticket to battle in PMPL Season 4. PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Southeast Asia Season 3 is the biggest mobile esports tournament in Southeast Asia with tops 16 Southeast Asia teams competing in 18 rounds of intense battle. The tournament runs from 21st May to 23rd May 2021.
What came to us as a surprise is The Infinity was formed barely 3 months ago and comprise of NEar, Logan, GodTunny, and nOOzy. The team emerge as champions with 239 total points and 3 Chicken Dinner.
3 Malaysian teams which participated namely RSG Malaysia, Geek Fam MY and Dingoz MPX were disappointed with the rank in the competition. Previous champion, RSG Malaysia came in 14th position with a scoring of 85 total points and 1 Chicken Dinner.
The tournament was broadcasted LIVE on PUBG MOBILE Malaysia Youtube channel and PUBG MOBILE Esports Malaysia Facebook channel across 6 Southeast Asian countries and 6 languages with 1 million viewers on the final day. With this record breaking viewership, PUBG Mobile fans can claim a free PMPL S3 t-shirt of the tournament.
